Cover Love: A Lady Graces Vogue

When I found out that Lady Gaga would be on the cover of Vogue's March issue. I first squealed with excitement... then raided the internet for any possible photos. I am amazed at these photos *picks up jaw from floor*. She displays pure elegance with edge like only Mother Monster can. Shes said to be adorn with a lot of McQueen's pieces, God rest his soul. I love that Gaga is so inspired by his works and the that pieces take on a life of their own when worn by her. What do you think? Amazing or no? Don't forget to pick up a copy of Vogue next month.

Twitter: What are YOU doing?

Im constantly asked why I have a twitter account because I hardly tweet. I just bat my eyes and respond " Tweeting is for the birds." It is!! How many times have you heard a juicy secret and say a little birdie told you. Thats how I view twitter. I log on and catch up on fashion trends, hollywood drama, and political scandals with the worlds opinions attached. People tweet about any and everything only because they feel safe behind their computer screens. All inhibition goes out the window when you think you'll never come face to face with your so-called followers. I sit back and read my timeline cracking up most of the time. You guys say the darnest things. I really think that years from now we all regret the things we post on these "social" networking sites. And when that day comes, we will be asking Twitter "What are You doing?"

The Reinvention of Self...?

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a huge fan of Jill Scott and Kanye West (pardon me if I have numerous post about them in the future). Their style, creativity, and love of words is what caught me as a life long fan. This monster of an industry they work in is obsessed with staying ahead of the curve in every genre of life. One being fashion. Lately I've notice Jill has sophisticated her Ms. Everything Soulful rags and Mother of the movement afro with a more rocking classic look. While Kanye aka King of Polos has progressed his Louis Vuittion Don and has been rocking suits like everyday is church.

My question to you, is this really reinventing ones self? I truely believe that fashion is just another outlet of expression. Another facet of our being shing through. Personally, I sometimes wake up a tomboy and throw on a t-shirt, jeans, and some butter Timberlands. Later on that evening you'll find me in my body con mini dripping with accessories with heels to boot. What do you think?

Ootd: Autumn Is My Fave

Autumn or Fall... what ever her name is to you , she remains the best season for fashion in my opinion. Jackets, sweaters, boots and scarves. The opportunity for layering always there because of Autumn's breezy ways. *sighs*... Well here is my first outfit of the day pic. Later Dolls!

GORRILLA BREAD!!!!

OK so today I was off which means I had time to cook a good meal at home. Working two jobs and volunteering and a aspiring food blogger takes up entirely too much time. But all that whining is for another blog... Tonight I made Oven Fried Chicken, Mac & Cheese, and Cucumber Tomato Salad with a Red Wine Vinegrette. Now for dessert I prepared Gorilla Bread which I am now addicted to (salivating all over the laptop). Im trying to tell you this is sex in your mouth. Seriously!!! I got the recipe from Paula Dean but I kinda put my twist on it.

1/2 cup grandulated sugar

3teaspoons cinnamon

1 1/2 sticks of butter

1 1/4 cups of packed brown sugar

1 package cream cheese

2 cans of biscuits

1 1/2 cups of coarsely chopped walnuts
